The public wants “change” and they will get MORE change then they expect. They are willing to roll the dice on a empty suit who is little more then a corrupt Chicago community organizer and his loyal sidekick who doesn’t remember much about history (President FDR in 1929), Technology (TV in 1929) who is who in Lebanon and what the constitutional powers of the Vice President are.

Let’s take a look at what was written about ACORN in 2004, shall we?

From the 2004 National Review article ACORN and the Money Tree

A SHADY PAST . . .
Given that federal funding is used “flexibly” within the ACORN empire, what kind of return is the government getting on its investment? Historically, failed 1960s-style leftism, intimidation and rabble-rousing, and questionable business practices — and hypocrisy.

Tit for tat, Obama ran ACORN power training classes in exchange for help getting elected.

Obama won the primary handily, pulling white wards as well as African American. But no one knew that that would be the case. In each election we must act as if our work is critical for our communities. That is what we did in the primary, and we learned something in the process.

developing leaders got to know him before he ever ran for office.

When he returned from law school, we asked him to help us with a lawsuit to challenge the state of Illinois’ refusal to abide by the National Voting Rights Act, also known as motor voter. Allied only with the state of Mississippi, Illinois had been refusing to allow mass-based voter registration according to the new law. Obama took the case, known as ACORN vs. Edgar (the name of the Republican governor at the time) and we won.

Ms. Foulkes says that every year since 1992 until at least the winter of 2003, Mr. Obama taught a “session on power” for ACORN.

ACORN operates its voter registration and get out the vote drives as a 503c3 “charity.” To get this tax exemption they claim to be non-partisan.

From Uppity’s site comes this (I won’t link to the site, because they usually scrub what they don’t want up that might cause controversy.):

Barack Obama Never Organized with ACORN

Say what?

Left me stuttering.  Is this not the most important experience he has?  Perhaps he is not happy about the associations with community organizing and ACORN.

This week, the Associated Press reported that ACORN had hired as voter registration workers in Milwaukee at least seven felons convicted of crimes including cocaine possession and robbery.

Carolyn Castore, state political director for the group, told the AP: “We have a lot of folks with felony records and, frankly, they need jobs.”

He used to be proud of his work with ACORN as he stated that this is what shaped him into what he is now.

ONE key pioneer of ACORN’s subprime-loan shakedown racket was Madeline Talbott – an activist with extensive ties to Barack Obama. She was also in on the ground floor of the disastrous turn in Fannie Mae’s mortgage policies.

He channeled money to ACORN via the Woods Fund and the CAC.  Citizens Services Inc is an arm extension of ACORN.  Hmm, they register to vote, is this not illegal to channel money to a group who is working voter registration under ACORN?  Why distance himself?  He used to be so proud of his community work.  Sounds like he’s doing another under the bus moment with change, as only the obama way can.

The question: Why do Obama’s deeds contradict his words? Is anyone in the mainstream media curious?

BILL AYERS GAVE BARACK OBAMA HIS START
…And, Barack Obama admitted his work with Bill Ayers gave him his credentials for public office.
And, yet The New York Times wants you to believe that their paths just happened to cross!

In this must see video Barack Obama admits that one of his major qualifications for political office was his work with terrorist Bill Ayers. In this video Obama also calls Rev Meeks, Father Pfleger, and Jeremiah Wright his friends:

We’re supposed to get along with thugs without ever resorting to war.

We’re supposed to win a war without killing anybody.

We’re supposed to prevent attacks without snooping on the bad guys.

We’re supposed to accept every lifestyle and behavior but not have anarchy.

We’re supposed to enforce law but not until all the lawsuits from people who oppose the laws are settled (e.g. environmentalists blocking drilling, abortion lawyers blocking enforcement of IL’s infanticide law, etc)

When America doesn’t live up to crazy, unlivable expectations, blame America and get people to believe that democracy and the free market can never work. Then institute a major crisis. That’s what Richard Cloward wanted his communist students to do.

Richard Cloward was a sociology professor at Columbia University from 1962 (I think) until he died. Obama has refused to release his transcripts from Columbia, but as a poli sci major he would have been strongly encouraged to take sociology courses. After graduating from Columbia and working 2 years in NYC, he moved to Chicago to begin his “community organizing” – which the above article talks about.

We might get the last laugh as the next President might very well be a reincarnated Herbert Hoover. That should ensure Republican control for the next two generations.

Of course, it might not matter if my irrational side is right and Obama turns out to be Hugo Chavez on steroids. Maybe he is merely a “democratic” fascist who will give up power voluntarily.

I overheard someone make the following statements.  Never have truer words been spoken or more applicable to Obama.

These sorts of detailed and bald faced lies are predicated on the assumption that the peasants to whom they are told will be

  • awed by the authority of the speaker,
  • confused by the complexity of the lie’s circumstances,
  • and too lazy to look up the facts for themselves.

There are actually peasants with expensive educations, and those peasants have Internet connections, and peasants who don’t automatically do what their party community organizers and union shop stewards tell them to do.

…these are hard times for faux aristocrats…

Oh, I forgot that you can always fix the straw polls.

As we have seen, the Obama campaign’s real theme song is “Anything Goes,” including such fun stuff as poll-rigging and registering the dead to vote.
