Let the smearing begin. Oh look, Team O has a few people who have liens. This morning we have Team O smearing on Fox stating that Joe is not a plumber, has tax liens, etc. Response revealing…Team O is scared cuz you know, Joe was a plant. It was Howard from Fox News. I hope Megan Kelly eats him alive. TAKE NOTE PEOPLE: Questions are NOT going to be tolerated.
Come to find out Joe Biden does not pay his bills either. Brother has to step in and pay them for him only after an attorney is contacted. Where is the smear?
He paid the down payment (cost of materials) but Joe never made a single payment. After about 6 or 7 months, we finally got a lawyer and threatened to take him to court. He finally got his brother to pay us the money he owed. I don’t believe we ever got the interest we asked for.
(Update: Joe is indeed registered to vote. The diligent truth-seekers who are digging up dirt on a plumber from Ohio didn’t find him on the voter rolls because there was a typo in his last name. But don’t take it so hard, guys: you can still safely discount his opinion because of his party affiliation.)
I get the feeling that the character assassination Joe’s about to endure will rival or surpass what they’ve done to Palin. He has to pay, because he scares them.
Is Joe Wurzelbacher — or as Obama calls him because he can’t remember the guy’s last name, Joe the Plumber — registered to vote? Maybe not. But he’s still allowed to ask questions of our leaders, and the people who want to be our leaders. And he sure will have to pay higher taxes if Obama gets what he wants.

ABC’s Diane Sawyer: “Well I just want to ask you now about the issue that was raised because it’s been a little confusing to me as I tried to sort it out here. To get straight here, you’re not taking home $250,000 now, am I right?”
Joe Wurzelbacher aka Joe the plumber: “No. No. Not even close.”
Sawyer: “And you were you asking — about the prospect, the hope that someday you would make $250,000, and you were saying you didn’t want that to be taxed?”
Wurzelbacher: “Well, exactly. Exactly. I mean not that I don’t want to be taxed. You have to be taxed. But to — just because you work a little harder to have a little bit more money taken from you, I mean, that’s scary. You know as opposed to other people. I worked hard for it. Why should I be taxed more than other people?”
Sawyer: “Well if people making $250,000 should not be taxed additionally — by the way, it’s 3% from 36% to 39% under Senator Obama’s plan. If those people should not be taxed additionally, even though they’re in the top 5% of America, what about people who make $1 million? Or $5 million?”
Wurzelbacher: “Well, I mean, quite honestly, why should they be penalized for being successful. I mean, that’s what you’re telling me. That’s what it sounds like you’re saying. That’s wrong. Because you’re successful, you have to pay more than everybody else? We all live in this country. It’s a basic right. And Obama wants to take that basic right and penalize me for it, is what it comes down to.
As Michelle says, what if Obama can’t stop at the $250,00 as he increases government? He wants HUGE government. Then what? The new magic $ number will be $100,000?

I just want to say that my husband and I have a small business and two other jobs. No. We do not make 250,000 a year. Right now, I am scared I will never be able to stop working so hard and get a moment of rest! We pay an Alt. min. tax and prop. tax and all sorts of taxes and we don’t make 250 + so my issue is this…why can we not have a flat tax. EVERYBODY pays 18% say all the way up and down. Those who make millions could pay the same percentage? Would that help? If not, then lets all agree that our tax system is impaired and many who a middle class cannot afford to pay so many taxes all the way up and to 250,000. So, those who make more if they go back to paying the same as they were paying in the 90’s percentage wise, what’s wrong with that? My oldest brother has prospered because he IS incorporated and has all the tax breaks and doesn’t have a paycheck, just loads of cash!!! Joe the Plumber, may be a fine person, but he doesn’t get it. The wealth has been spread the last 8 years with all the breaks to the wealthiest of people and now 700 billion of our dollars to Wall STreet CEO’s and friends. Wake up, America. Figure it out. We, the people, have been ripped off. Joe, John McC, Sarah, etc. you don’t get it!!!!!

Suzy Q, I have news for you…I have ALWAYS worked two jobs. There will be no incentive to work two jobs once Obama gets into office. I agree wholeheartedly that a flat 10% tax would be perfect and fair.
38% of this country is already on entitlement and we will continue to pay higher taxes to give them more. How about some empowerment to go to WORK like the rest of us???
I have half of my income go towards taxes. Imagine that! I am taking out loans to cover my kid’s college as well.
I am a self proprietor because of the lawsuit mentality in this country. YOU DON’T GET IT…Obama is pure socialism. If you hit the big lotto, are you willing to share it with everyone?
