Joe telling us to expect the unexpected:

“It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.“

IRRESPONSIBLE Joe says it loud and clear!  EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!

Barack Obama’s choice of Joe Biden as his running mate prompted a small wave of warnings about Biden’s propensity for gaffes. But no one imagined even in a worse-case scenario such a spectacular bomb as telling donors Sunday to “gird your loins” because a young president Obama will be tested by an international crisis just like young President John Kennedy was.

Scary? You betcha! But somehow, not front-page news.

Joe is taking a day off.  Well, here are a few reasons why he should,

  • he had a recent death in the family,
  • he has traveled quite a bit none,
  • his #1 is in Hawaii also attending to family matters and
  • he makes inflammatory remarks, gives a time table that have given Team O crotch twisties.  Example:  MSNBC creatively edited the boo boo.
  • Commentary anyone?

Joe Biden was reminding people how dangerous it will be to elect the inexperienced Obama.

Biden’s warning:

“–we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

Biden also admitted that the Obama Camp will respond in an unusual way(?)

Isn’t this an argument for electing someone with more experience?  Earth to JOE, why should this country elect a man who will provoke enemies?  Hey Joe, remember JFK???  He got his test early on as well.  Results were the Berlin Wall and the Cuban missile crisis.

John Kennedy got tested because he met with Nikita Khrushchev with “no preconditions”.  Kennedy acknowledged afterwards that it was an “unmitigated disaster“:

I agree with Biden. Obama is exactly like Kennedy in this regard, and our enemies will test us by threatening our interests around the globe if we elect Obama.  I’d rather avoid the problem altogether and elect a man who puts enough fear into the minds of our enemies to keep them from testing us at all.
