Onyango attended Obama’s U.S. Senate swearing-in ceremony in 2005, and the senator last heard from her about two years ago, according to the campaign.

These are the relatives in the US.  We already know about George Obama.  He is Obama’s half brother who lives in Kenya in a shack.  Gateway Pundit makes a good point:  why have foreign media found all of Obama’s family???

I cannot believe that Michelle and Barack purchased a mansion without a carriage house apartment behind the house that Rezko/Auchi helped them buy?
I always thought the LEAST they could do was buy Kenya “toot” some satellite tv so she could watch you.  Instead, I read that she borrowed a tv to watch the election coverage.
It’s tough living on the 4 million they made last year.   Obama only believes in speading other peoples wealth not his.

…his half-brother lives on one dollar each month in Kenya, and his aunt lives in dilapidated public housing in Boston. How wonderful. For a guy who is often seen as elitist and egotistical, this sure does a lot for that perception. Between Sen. Joe Biden’s abysmal record of donations to charity–in the past ten years, the Bidens have given $3,690 out of their $2,450,042 in income–and Obama’s failure to provide at all for his own family, the same family spoken of so nicely in his memoirs, it’s a wonder that the pair can so successfully misrepresent themselves as caring for those who have less than they do. Amazing how they have no qualms about forcing ordinary Americans like you and me to share our wealth involuntarily, but have utterly refused to volunteer to share their own.

As with Obama’s half-brother George in Kenya, the financial plight of Obama’s relatives challenge the wealthy, successful Obama much more specifically than Obama challenged Americans in that forum.  Matthew speaks of all men as brothers, but a failure to care for family speaks much louder than a failure to care for strangers.  It makes Obama look a little hypocritical, especially after featuring Zeituni and Omar in one of the books that now provide a healthy income for the presidential candidate.  Obama may want to recall the Gospel passages about motes, beams, and thine own eye before lecturing America on Matthew.

Barack Obama has lived one version of the American Dream that has taken him to the steps of the White House. But a few miles from where the Democratic presidential candidate studied at Harvard, his Kenyan aunt and uncle, immigrants living in modest circumstances in Boston, have a contrasting American story.

A second relative believed to be the long-lost “Uncle Omar” described in the book was beaten by armed robbers with a “sawed-off rifle” while working in a corner shop in the Dorchester area of the city. He was later evicted from his one-bedroom flat for failing to pay $2,324.20 (£1,488) arrears, according to the Boston Housing Court.

The UK Times Online adds the following:

Speaking outside her home in Flaherty Way, South Boston, on Tuesday, Ms Onyango, 56, confirmed she was the “Auntie Zeituni” in Mr Obama’s memoir. She declined to answer most other questions about her relationship with the presidential contender until after the November 4 election. “I can’t talk about it, I just pray for him, that’s all,” she said, adding: “After the 4th, I can talk to anyone.”

Aunt Zeituni and Uncle Omar are the children of Mr Obama’s grandfather Hussein Onyango Obama, by his third wife – the woman Mr Obama calls “Granny” because she raised his father. Mr Obama’s father, Barack Sr, was Onyango Obama’s son by his second wife, Akumu. That makes Zeituni and Omar a half-sister and half-brother of Mr Obama’s father, or Mr Obama’s half-aunt and half-uncle.

The Times could not determine their immigration status and an official at Boston City Hall said that Ms Onyango was a resident of Flaherty Way but not registered to vote on the electoral roll.
