From Ace by Pam (Atlas), some real reporting of Obama news. Obama lack’s political courage.
Yesterday 11-02-08 a NY Congressman Jerrold Nadler stumping in Florida for Obama let’s it rip:
“Obama didn’t have the political courage to make a statement and walk out.”
…it doesn’t reflect well on Obama. Either he’s a political opportunist who uses faith as a tool to win votes, or he’s a true believer in Wright’s message who got offended at Wright’s attack on him and dumped him only for that reason. I’d call it a combination of the two.
Not politically courageous, is it?
Nice companion tape from GOPtrust’s to Wright ad. Some leader Obama will make.
Nadler says there are no phone banks in Gaza…read on:
…if you want to watch an Obama surrogate throw Central Asian Georgia (and the Ukraine) under the bus in the quest for Florida votes (and to watch said Florida votes keep interrupting him with sneers). I suggest that you watch the whole thing; bear in mind that Rep Nadler apparently doesn’t know anything about Gaza phone banking for Obama when you do. Nadler apparently hasn’t heard of a lot of things, judging from how often he uses that line… in response to what was a refreshingly well-informed audience.
At an event at a Boca Raton synagogue, Congressman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) said that the United States should let Russia invade Georgia. Beginning at the 3:50 mark in the following YouTube video, which was recorded by Pamela Geller of the blog Atlas Shrugs, Nadler says:
We have not been willing to put our priorities properly. We have not been willing to say … “Hey Russia, we won’t expand NATO into the Ukraine and Georgia, right next to your borders, if you cooperate with us on Iran.” …
I think Iran and Israel are a hell of a lot more important than expanding NATO to Russia’s borders. Why should we? What do we need it for?
Someone in the crowd says: “Because they invaded Georgia.”
Nadler retorts: “So let ‘em invade Georgia. It’s right next to them. Would we tolerate a foreign–a Russian army in Mexico? Which is more important to us Georgia or Israel, frankly?”
Another voice in the crowd asks Nadler: “What is more important to us Czechoslovakia or Austria?”
“That’s a completely separate kind of question,” Nadler replies.
