North Korea said Friday it is ditching a nonaggression pact and all other peace agreements with South Korea, in an apparent attempt to use the threat of an armed clash to press Seoul to give up its “confrontational” stance.
Let’s take a look at the problem. The Stimulus Bill specifies amongst the following.
* “The utilization of an electronic health record for each person in the United States by 2014.”
* “The National Coordinator shall perform the duties…consistent with the development of a nationwide health information technology infrastructure that allows for the electronic use and exchange of information and that…facilitates health and clinical research…”
The result.
1. “…the economic stimulus bill mandates electronic health records for every citizen without providing for opt-out or patient consent provisions.
2. “…records could be shared-without their consent-with over 600,000 covered entities through the forthcoming nationally linked electronic health-records network…”
Yikes!
Even though there are federal privacy rules under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), some personal information can already be disclosed without patient consent.
With the utter lack of judgment the current Democratic administration and houses of government have shown thus far, it would not be surprising to see personal information disseminated beyond intended recipients, as either intended or unintended consequences. Much like the current problems in the banking and credit card industry, with personal information falling into the wrong hands.
Warning. The following images may be too graphic for tender minds.
I say the government should mind their own business.
Last night an Amazon spokesman said the firm stood by their decision to sell the book. He added: “We do not dictate to our customers what they can or cannot buy.”
Samantha Powers, the ass that called Hillary a monster. Supposedly, she has been rehabilitated.
Samantha Power, the Harvard University professor Obama’s lackey who earned notoriety for calling Hillary Rodham Clinton a “monster” while working to elect Barack Obama president, will take a senior foreign policy job at the White House, The Associated Press has learned.
Officials familiar with the decision say Obama has tapped Power to be senior director for multilateral affairs at the National Security Council, a job that will require close contact and potential travel with Clinton, who is now secretary of state. NSC staffers often accompany the secretary of state on foreign trips.
I am not saying that I believe the former Governor, but I like so many others question how someone could be convicted of a crime that has yet to be proven.
Good idea to set a precedent of impeaching people who haven’t been convicted of any crime?
