…this bill was written based on the wish list of every living — or dead — Democratic interest group. As Speaker Nancy Pelosi put it, “We won the election. We wrote the bill.”
Please how about some perspective people? Got rid of the $$ for condom, what say you get rid of the $335,000,000 for the STD prevention in the porkbill?
P. 45: “$25,000,000 is for recreation maintenance, especially for rehabilitation of off-road vehicle routes, and $20,000,000 is for trail maintenance and restoration.” ATV owners, rejoice.
P. 60: $400 million for HIV and chlamydia testing.
The stimulus all you can get trough bill pushers should remember what the country needs vs. what they want. The mall sod is no more, but how can you defend this piggery? Yes, sodding the Mall is a drop in the bucket however, every penny should be counted.
… Hollywood ($246 million in new targeted tax breaks) to universal health care promotion ($600 million) to dubious “green job” projects ($24 billion).

Still in the bill is the $600m for new cars for the government. Talk about a waste of money. One of my jobs when I was on active duty in the Pentagon was to coordinate the administrative vehicle program with the GSA. Needless to say, all the brass wanted top of the line cars. I greatly doubt this bunch of Democratic politicians/staffers are any different.
This whole BS makes me so mad I’m going back to my barn to commune with my cows. They’ve got more brains than Pelosi and crew!

it seems like all the promises made by Mr. Obama during his campaign are not going to be real… this government seems to be more about what people on the power circles want and not about the change that this country needs… it makes you wonder if we are ever going to be able to really have a president willing to cut loose from all the strings from power groups. it is a shame that we share this burden with so many countries that we criticize so often… it’s great to live in America, but coming from a country where all is run by a few rich people, i expected more here… well, we are use to it already, but how came the american people don’t put a stop to this?
