In the book scheduled to be published May 12, Edwards says her husband, John, admitted to the betrayal just days after declaring his run for president in 2006. She says she wanted him to drop out of the race to protect the family from media scrutiny, but stood by his side anyway.

But she says that while her life may be tragic, Hunter’s is “pathetic.”

I have different words. She called her a parasitic groupie that would invade his life.

“I cried and screamed, I went to the bathroom and threw up,” the cancer-stricken Elizabeth Edwards, 59, wrote after the former presidential candidate confessed his affair with mistress Rielle Hunter.

UPDATE:

It had been reported that Edwards was under investigation for using campaign funds to pay his mistress. Well, interestingly enough, Edwards just paid his campaign fund some big bucks for furniture. Does Reille know that you value her like a piece of furniture?

Does Elizabeth know for sure that this is his baby?
