Two points: First: The context of this was purely humor. One of the dangers in today’s media is we no longer have a bright line between news and entertainment. We react to political humor that goes to far and to tragic news presented in a humorous vein.
Secondly, When the WH can’t say it officially, they retreat to passive-aggressive humor that hits below the belt. Go Miss California! Shut up WH!

Thank you MeMyself&I. I don’t know Carrie Prejean, but I have had past relationships with pageant directors. Let’s say that it is a 50/50 split on whether they have any integrity. The title is meaningless if you aren’t allowed to be yourself regardless of what maybe right or wrong. She was asked for her opinion.
