He has made no secret of his love of women but the sex scandal surrounding Silvio Berlusconi is now threatening to topple him, as more claims emerge of the systematic recruitment of young women paid to attend private parties at his homes in Rome and Sardinia.
In an interview with The Times Barbara Montereale said that Mr Berlusconi gave her €10,000 (£8,500) “as a present” after attending one of his parties at Villa Certosa. She also claims to have received an attendance fee of €1,000, paid by his alleged fixer, Giampaolo Tarantini.
Miss Montereale, 23, also claimed that Patrizia D’Addario, the escort girl at the centre of the scandal, told her she had had sex with Mr Berlusconi.

I suppose this means that Silvio’s current spouse is going to go to town when it comes to a settlement.

10 bucks says that Monica Lewinski is already booked on an Alitalia flight to see if she can become the newest member of “Silvio’s Stable”, which may just become a lucrative media venture for Berlusconi.
If the pilot takes off (and Berlusconi is ousted), expect to see his reality series of the same name premiering soon. Auditions for “Silvio’s Stable” will be held in St. Peter’s Square in late August.

Ahhhahahahaha…Silvio’s Stable! Anthony have you ever considered writing a reality show? I am sure that Silvio would be willing to participate. He is such a show off.

Not going to produce a reality show, but may do a post on this (it got me out of my overwhelming lethargy re: politics that has deadened me lately)
I’ve actually done some writing for TV (satire, 4 years), but transitioned into print/internet during the strike. Not a WGA member, and afterward, thought it best if I left any jobs to writers with families to feed.

for Chrisake it’s ITALY! they don’t have all those repressive Puritan hangups Americans deal with. Silvio likes girls, unlike our Prez.
jeez he’s the only world leader who jabs oBambi without mercy. pigs that hide their nasty activity are the ones to look out for. I think his wife left him long ago. they’ll probably get an annulment like Kerry did.
