Red Flag to crisscross skies above Nellis
Look for the Israeli air force over the skies of southern Nevada as Israel F-16C Fighting Falcons join their American counterparts for the latest Red Flag exercise at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev.
Altogether, 62 planes are expected to fly during the 11-days of mock combat, which started Monday. About 50 aircraft will depart Nellis twice a day to practice air war scenarios involving large groups of aircraft that aircrews don’t often see when flying missions from their home bases.
Nom called it as it is. If Iran is bombed, we disavow. I think the term disavow is correct.

We do of course have red flag training with our allie, especially NATo allies, for the purpose of learning to fly missions together, to make sure equipment is compatible, that terminology is understood by all to mean the same things. In this particular red flag, the UK will also participate. Some other countries we’ve hosted at Nellis are Brazil, South Korea, Greece, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Turkey, Italy, UK, France, & New Zealand. Next month we will host the UAE, I believe for the first time.
At Nellis, red flags are scheduled irregularly (there will be 5 this year); the US also hosts other red flag training at Alaska’s Eielson AFB.
What makes this one different is that all photography of the event is banned.

Of course. If there ever is a problem with Iran, this never happened.
