CNN Edits Out Dobbs Criticism From Taped Interview.
The New York Times reports that CNN “has not commented on the protests or covered them on its news programs.” But not only has CNN ignored the Dobbs protests, the network edited out criticism of Dobbs from civil rights lawyer Isabel Garcia during a taped interview with controversial Arizona Sheriff Joe Arapaio that aired on Anderson Cooper 360 this week:
[Garcia] who was featured in “Latino in America” and organized an anti-Dobbs protest in Tucson on Wednesday, said that CNN edited her comments about the anchor out of an interview. [...]
She said she called Mr. Arpaio and Mr. Dobbs “the two most dangerous men to our communities,” and said that “because of them, our communities are being terrorized in a real way.” She also asserted that CNN was “promoting lies and hate about our community” by broadcasting Mr. Dobbs’s program. The comments were not included when the interview was shown Wednesday night. “They heavily deleted what I did get to say,” she said.
This isn’t the first time CNN has circled the wagons around Dobbs.
Is Lou becoming a liability? I think that he is the only one at CNN with a pair quite frankly. It’s no wonder that CNN has crappy ratings. They refuse to do their work…responsible journalism is dead.

White House tries to bar Fox News from intervewing pay czar Video UPDATE
Posted by mcnorman under Uncategorized[7] Comments
UPDATE: Gibbs made the mistake.
A Fox News executive told the Huffington Post Saturday that the network “absolutely” did request an interview with Obama administration “pay czar” Kenneth Feinberg and that the White House acknowledged a mistake on the part of a Treasury department staffer in failing to initially include Fox News in the round of interviews Feinberg conducted Thursday.
“Of course we requested an interview,” Fox News Senior Vice President Michael Clemente told the Huffington Post.
This directly contradicts reports by the Associated Press and Talking Points Memo, both of which reported that the White House had excluded Fox News because it did not request an interview.
Whether Fox News requested an interview was irrelevant in this case, however, as the interview was conducted a pool including ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and Fox News.
It’s ALL or NONE.
If Fox can’t have access, don’t expect the others to play. They understand the White House better than the White House understands itself. They aren’t about to exclude another new organization based on favorites.
Kudos to the sister organizations that said, “no” to the White House.

After numerous emails and comments calling me racist I put this video out. Calling me racist is complete crap because I voted for Obama. I made a huge mistake because Obama is a snake, and of course snakes lie! I know better now and I will NEVER vote for a republican OR a democrat EVER AGAIN! Like to know why? It’s simple really. You see, while we see these *#!!e#’s on TV arguing with one another during the day, these same pricks are having dinner and drinking cocktails together at night!

British nuclear expert dies in 40-metre plunge.
Police are investigating after a British nuclear energy expert involved in negotiations with Iran over its nuclear programme fell 40 metres to his death from a UN building in Vienna.
Officials announced today (Weds) that the man – named as Timothy Hampton – died on the spot yesterday after a fall from the 17th floor at Vienna International Centre (VIC), one of the United Nations’ (UN) main headquarters along with New York, Nairobi and Geneva.
Authorities said the 47-year-old man – a member of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) – had joined the UN’s current talks with Iran over its nuclear programme.
Investigators refused to reveal any further information on the case but said they ordered an autopsy.
Nothing weird here, huh?
