Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the alleged shooter in yesterday’s massacre at Fort Hood, played a homeland security advisory role in President Barack Obama’s transition into the White House, according to a key university policy institute document.
via Shooter advised Obama transition.
I want to know why what was wrong with Hasan was not detected? Was he given a pass because he was Muslim? Is there a fear of suspecting or offending Muslims in the military that keeps people who should see signs of dysfunction from acknowledging what they see or doing anything about it? On the other hand, if it really is the case that people in the military are harassing Muslims, that too should not be ignored. There should be rigorous equality for Muslims. It shouldn’t even be necessary to point out what is obvious: Muslims in the military shouldn’t experience special treatment either of a positive or a negative kind.
We all know that we were not allowed to use Hussein in POTUS name whenever he was announced during the primaries. Why, because POTUS is a Muslim. He was raised a Muslim, but to date he will not own being a Muslim.

Wow, that’s interesting. He was obviously part of a large “think tank” type group and not a personal advisor, but still, it doesn’t look good for the Apologizer-in-Chief. Well, at least we women have a right to wear a hijab.

This would not surprise me at all. It takes someone who is brainwashed by propaganda, which Islam is today, in order to advise someone who relies upon it for his agenda, which Obama definitely qualifies.
November 6, 2009 at 7:02 PM
How many more are there NNIC? They are waiting until they believe it is their time. As long as the propaganda machine keeps churning, we must come to terms with the fact that we will have these episodes happen.

civilian police officer who shot Hasan is Kimberly Munley:

cs says Major Hasan took a lot of extra weapons classes.
But that’s not a red flag!

Worse Nom, he had issues in medical school. During rounds, he would strike up the Koran and justification for killing.
Here’s the NPR segment. Key bit:

This whole thing is beginning to look completely crazy. I cannot imagine why the army didn’t discharge him.
November 6, 2009 at 8:57 PM
two letters PC
He is a nutjob. Has been. Actions speak louder than words…does that not mean anything to the Army?http://mcnorman.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php#comments-form
November 6, 2009 at 9:23 PM
his relatives say he’s been asking to be discharged for years and even offered to pay back the cost of his education; if that’s true, there wouldn’t have been any repercussions to the army if it had given him a less than honorable discharge
November 6, 2009 at 9:25 PM
thx for addition, that is really really crazy/scary.
November 6, 2009 at 8:29 PM
You know there is something rather odd about the Rodriguez guy. He is 40 now, and it’s been 2 years since he was fired, and he only worked there a year. He was fired for not knowing his job (transportation engineering) when he was 36-7.
What has he been doing since he graduated? When he graduated he was presumably in his 20s, spent his engineering probationary period to get licensed, was ~25-28. There is a ~10 year gap. It seems very hard to believe that a guy with 10 years experience in a field is a complete incompetent.
I think the company fired him for another reason.
November 6, 2009 at 8:47 PM
I think he is another messed up human. You’re right…they aren’t saying.
