Sadie has become the first winner of the dog-show Triple Crown.
She already acquired top dog at the National Dog Show in Pennsylvania in November and the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship in California in December. You go Sadie!
My first female Scottie was a gorgeous little girl named Ceniza (Ashes), and she was the sweetest dog anyone could ever want. Not easy for the Scottish type. She also watched teevee. Good to know that Sadie watches Animal Planet.

I’m so glad the Scottie won! A well deserved win, IMO.
Oh my gosh, does that bring back memories! My husband and I used to show our Siberian Huskies…never went to Westminster, though! We did the whole dog show circuit through Chicago, Detroit, the Twin Cities, etc. Mostly midwest shows.
I can tell ya…it’s really exhausting for owners and dogs alike. Basically, you’re running on adrenaline for three days straight! It’s so much fun, though. We had one dog that LOVED to show, as soon as he was in the ring, he shined. We handled our own dogs, though. Paying for a professional handler is way too expensive.
Eventually, we left the confirmation circuit and went strictly into Obedience and did only obedience shows.

How cool Nunly. Little Ceniza was gorgeous with the exception of one tiny tooth that was out of place. My lucky day when I flew her home. She was a doll. I rescue mutts and pure breds alike now.

You know they are thinking deeply about what they are seeing and smelling.
