Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA) from the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform released this video at CPAC of Barack Obama discussing his close partnership with ACORN. Obama talked about his long relationship with ACORN privately in this video before the 2008 election:
“When I ran project vote, the voter registration drive in Illinois, ACORN was smack dab in the middle of it. Once I was elected there wasn’t a campaign that ACORN worked on down in Springfield that I wasn’t right there with you. Since I have been in the United States Senate I’ve been always a partner with ACORN as well. I’ve been fighting with ACORN, along side ACORN, on issues you care about my entire career.”
But, when Barack Obama was confronted about his relationship with ACORN publicly before the election he had an entirely different story. This is what he said in October 2008:
Reporter: Senator McCain today said there was voter fraud going on in the battleground states. ACORN has been tampering with America’s most precious right. There has to be a full investigation and he also said you need to disclose your full relationship with ACORN. I’m wondering if you have any reaction to Senator McCain’s charge?
Barack Obama: Well, first of all my relationship with ACORN is pretty straightforward. It’s probably 13 years ago when I was still practicing law, I represented ACORN and my partner in that investigation was the US Justice department in having Illinois implement what was called the motor voter law, to make sure people could go to DMV’s and driver license facilities to get registered. It wasn’t being implemented. That was my relationship and is my relationship to ACORN. There is an ACORN organization in Chicago. They’ve been active. As an elected offiical, I’ve had interactions with them. But, they’re not advising my campaign. We’ve got the best voter registration in politics right now and we don’t need ACORN’s help.
POTUS has always feigned ties to ACORN.

We know about ACORN, and have since the primaries- the MSM did not give a shit. That’s how we wound up in this mess- dead people, Mickey and Donald and god knows who else all voted in multiple states where they were registered by Potus’s bosom buddies.

Nunly, I get angry because this stuff was out there. No one would use it because they were afraid of being called racists. This is a GOP and DNC failure. Had HRC’s team been allowed to mine for the trash on this man, things might have been different. I hope the DNC is thrilled with their choice. As for the GOP, scared pantywaists that deserve nothing for allowing this to happen.

Thank you for the link. I went to a tea party rally when it first formed. The majority of people at the rally were over 50. They were spurned Dems. All I can say is that I am seeing a GOP infiltration which I don’t like, but the group must evolve into something.

I would disagree with you on the true Tea Party people. Those from the beginning of the movement. They are nothing like what we will see in a 2010 elections.
I can tell you that the GOP is in the midst. I don’t know how it will play out in 2012, but without the tea party people, the GOP cannot win. That makes me very sad. I am not a fan of either party at this point. I think Obama and his socialist pals are the more evil at this time. I think we are on the verge of a depression that many have never known. Money is being printed by the truckloads. It’s not just us, it is the entire world that is doing the same thing.

I took my name off their mailing list. when they start telling me Scott Brown & Marco Rubio are the same thing & backing a candidate running outside their localities, Tea Party becomes a “cult” machine the likes of Obama for America. Foxnews is rubbing Rubio’s leg full-time like the leftist media did Obama. I’m supporting the candidate who’s actually done something good for FL. that’s Charlie Crist. I don’t presume to know who is good for TX or NY or Mass. FL will go for Dem Kendrick Meek if Rubio wins the primary. I’m really sick of outside interference & Cuban gangbuster politics.
