LOSER.
This newspaper has had its share of differences with Rep. Charlie Rangel over the years, but one word we never thought to associate with the Harlem lawmaker is “coward.”
Yet what other term is appropriate when a 79-year-old political veteran, the dean of the New York delegation and chairman of one of the most powerful panels on Capitol Hill, ducks responsibility for a pretty obvious personal ethical lapse by throwing his staff under the bus?

But, Pelosi is an even BIGGER loser than Rangel, imo. How can you defend the indefensible? Oh yeah, she has had lots of practice…

I don’t believe that this man knows the definition of the word shame.

As per the new school- shame is not allowed- it is bad for self esteem.
I was actually told that by the teacher and principal in my daughter’s elementary school- right before we left crazy ass liberal MA- that is just TOO over the top for me! Shame is good- it is the emotion that when remembered prevents us from repeating a behavior- kind of tied in with another of those old fashioned things- CONSCIENCE!

Shame is out, self esteem is in.
It’s ridiculous.

Wonder what would happen if I “forgot” to declare income. Rangel wants to stuff into obamacare a totally unrelated law where if you think you might of possibly made a mistake and did not somehow report it Rangel will have your hide.

* Bar the IRS from waiving penalties against taxpayers who clearly erred in good faith.
* Double fines in certain circumstances.
“The bill raises penalties and eliminates many of the reasonable defenses that taxpayers have always been able to use when honest mistakes are uncovered,” one lawyer told The Post.
In fact, the bill increases fines “in some cases even for honest mistakes,” the expert added.

Rangel is somewhere out there. Does he begin with Timmy Geithner? Let’s face it, that guy needs the Turbo Treasury Tax Edition to help him.
Who is kidding whom? The man is a problem himself…isn’t the kettle calling the pot black? Ugh!
I remember making a simple mistake. It is easy. I sent the check with one wrong digit on the identification number. Simple mistake. I had just undergone eye surgery. Does that mean that I will be taken straight to the gulag?
