Shoot, what would Peggy the Moocher do then?
Democrats have the votes to defeat all of the amendments, but some of them may be difficult to openly oppose. The Medicare Advantage restoration could be a big problem for Democrats who need seniors to support them in upcoming votes, for example. The amendment process puts each issue on the floor individually, making it much more difficult for Senators to vote one way and proclaim themselves another in the future.

There is always hope.

Heh heh heh…payback’s a bitch, ain’t it? Dems are ready to throw the seniors under the bus, but they prefer to wait until after they vote them back in come November.
O/T Bad Habit is back on line..the children must be napping, all is quiet.

$250 will go really far if you have monthly meds that run several hundred dollars.

Mcnorman, do you have any idea what happens with the AARP health ins.? Will there be any changes to it?
March 23, 2010 at 6:19 pm
I don’t have info yet. I do know that AARP sold out seniors. It’s long and involved. AARP is United Healthcare. They in turn write the coding books for all medical charges. Medicare abides by these codes and changes. AARP endorsed BamCare. Payouts, it is all about whose pockets are lined. Rest assured Betty, I will let you know.

Isn’t the guy who heads AARP a Barack buddy?
March 23, 2010 at 8:19 pm
I believe you are correct wac. They all became friends once they figured out who would game the system for them. They have a symbiotic relationship.

Thanks for the info.

You are just so smart- how did you learn all this? Are there any sights in particular you recommend so as to be able to keep up?
Are you saying that AARP is actually a health insurance co in disguise?

PMM, I’m not smart. I just follow the trail which royally pisses me off. It is so convoluted. I started asking questions when the software companies were altering coding according to the industry standards. After years of putting the pieces of the puzzle together, I asked more questions. I made friends with some people who worked closely with Medicare and had access to the physician advocates. They in turn helped me figure out some more of the puzzle. It is phenomenally fucked up. It will only get worse. I spend so much time figuring out the game. I am able to blog because most of the time I am sitting in que waiting for a human to answer me on the phone.

Thank goodness we have people like yourself. I don’t have aarp..I was curious as to what would happen to them since they are a friend to the ONE.
March 24, 2010 at 6:22 am
Nothing is going to happen to the insurance companies. I foresee them becoming assimilated into government at some point. It only makes sense.
