I don’t miss Carter one iota. I did live through the gas lines and inflation, in fact it started just when I got married and that was a hell of a time to start a family.
I had one of those Ford Pinto’s with the exploding gas tanks…a stick shift, because that cost $500 less than an automatic. That darned car lasted us forever, even though it was a piece of crap. I remember the car payment…$57.60 per month. LOL!
Yes, the Pinto. I remember it well. It was the choice car for drive ins because we could lay down with the hatch up. I saw a Pinto station wagon last week. I almost wrecked.

I am getting close- ask me again when I am waiting in a line to buy gas on an even day

I forgot about those lines.

I don’t miss Carter..the little rat. I would rather see the Bush billboard.

Hahahahaha Betty. You know it’s getting bad when they begin to go that far back.

I don’t miss Carter and I sure don’t miss (either) Bush. Nixon is looking a lot better in retrospect though…

My thoughts exactly Nom. Nixon, was Nixon.

I didn’t prefer Bush either…but out of all of them..I would have to select him.
