At Last, The Truth About Tea Partiers.

A new poll has forced The New York Times and liberal elites to admit Tea Partiers aren’t nuts—but rather passionate, educated, serious, and relatively prosperous.

From punchline to powerhouse:

A year ago, few people paid attention to “tea party” activists like Ted Opper. Today, everybody wants a piece of him.

Pollsters, news organizations, and political scientists are studying Mr. Opper and his fellow tea partyers as a fascinating new, and possibly radical, political subspecies. Oppel simply sees himself as an ordinary American worried about mortgaging their kids’ futures to pay for liberal largess.

And look who got left out?

The Tea Party is hosting a Tax Day rally on Thursday in Washington, but the Republicans leaders in the House and Senate are not invited.

Good luck trying to paint the Tea Party as loons gone wild.  Hey, look a map showing where POTUS is still popular.  Gee, I guess the love faded a year later.  Imagine what the map will look like in November?   Mr. Popularity is “amused” by the Tea Party folks.

Oh yes, his behavior sure is popular!
