They’ll probably sue their employer for wrongful termination.

Oh my, you are probably right. There is no end in sight to this.

Hmmmmm…….illegal workers who have no right to be employed…. get fired by the emoployers who illegally hired them – unless the illegals lied about their citizenship, or hid their illegality…
Oh the irony of it all just makes my head hurt!

Yes Buttered, it’s twisted.

I know I would have fired their asses. Lets just say they can continuously protest now.

Not one of these children would have been allowed to come back to work. They hurt that business by what they did. They don’t understand how business works, it is not an entitlement.

These morons were NOT fired for marching – they were fired for not going to work as scheduled. Anyone with a background in restaurant work know what a horrific hardship it is to cover 13 people who decide to not report in. What the reason was for them not showing up is irrelevant. Good news, though, for unemployed Americans in the Chandler area of Arizona. There are now 13 openings at the Pei Wei restaurant. Quick – rush in for an interview!
One woman from Pei Wei who marched, per the news story at http://www.kpho.com/news/23742292/detail.html, was scheduled to have the day off and was NOT fired. So the news story is misleading. Marching in support of illegal aliens was not the offense for being terminated – blowing off work was.

That had to be the worst day in this company’s week. Covering that many people is ridiculous. Of course the msm will spin it so that it looks like they were fired for marching. I don’t think that they can claim unemployment.

I would be interested to know if the fired employees are legal or illegal?
June 1, 2010 at 7:02 am
Probably anchor babies with parents who are illegal.
