UPDATE, This is what the dumbass said just prior to the clip.
U.S. Sen. Harry Reid on Tuesday slammed Republicans for blocking comprehensive immigration reform and told Hispanics they shouldn’t be treated differently because “their skin’s a tone darker” than that of America’s early European immigrants.
What if they don’t look Hispanic? Would that make you believe that they exist Harry?
Found @ WZ Oh yeah, get rid of the accent too.

Maybe the many Cuban republicans would like to have a crack at explaining that to reid…
He is such a buffoon and would do well to shut his pie hole!!

I think Marco Rubio got his unders in a twist big time. Great read.

That’s funny because I don’t know how anybody like Reid could be a politician. I think it’s time to send him packing.

Does he live in a rubber room? He says the dumbest stuff.

Well, that about sums it up. According to Reid at least, Democrats feel they are “entitled” to votes from certain “traditional” Democratic “strongholds”.
In other words, if one is perceived as a groveling, needy victim of society at large then by gosh have they ever found a home…
Just one catch to that, they have to live with the knowledge that they owe Harry Reid something for “saving” them or “helping” them. It’s the old arsonist fireman conundrum – starting fires in order to be perceived as the hero by putting them out…
People who fall for these stunts are quite honestly pathetic and are being victimized. To me, it’s akin to a form of political codependency – an expression of self-loathing…

Their new base will have to be illegals. Everyone else knows exactly what they are up to.
August 11, 2010 at 11:36 am
Well that explains it then! I have never been good at groveling.
Wonder if it will ever dawn on Harry, Nancy, Donna et al that when they said they didn’t need the old coalition (that would be me – and you- and you over there- and yes YOU!) that the new coalition they put together was going to sink the party and the country.

PMM….Apparently, they are only capable of living in the moment and not taking in the big picture. I loathe these a-holes!!

the problem is that his opponent is not just a dumbass she’s completely batshit crazy.
she wants to eliminate federal income tax (without reducing the size of the military, this should be some trick), allow unlimited campaign contributions, withdraw from the UN (apparently not registering the power that the US derives from being one of the 5 permanent members), privatize social security & medicare (before eliminating it) and the VA. She wants to store nuclear waste in Yucca Mountain and eliminate the Department of Education.
She says god wants her to run against Harry Reid: “When God calls you, he also equips you and he doesn’t just say ‘Well, today you’re going to run against Harry Reid.’ There is a preparation,” she said during a recent interview on the Christian Broadcasting Network. “Moses had his preparatory time. Paul had his preparatory time. Even Jesus had his preparatory time, and so my preparation began on a school board.”
I’m sure it’s a school board completely divorced from the Department of Education except for that $100 million the state of Utah received a couple of days ago to fund education jobs in Utah.

I don’t see how any sane person could vote for either of them.

Yes, Nom. In fact, this year’s election should be termed an election of those who are running from office. We need to send the government to the time-out chair until they learn their lesson. Then we’ll think about electing some more. There ought to be a ballot selection for None of the Above with a Do Not Replace provision!
August 11, 2010 at 3:29 pm
Well that is Rich, Harry – coming from you and your un-Democratic Party that has made a career of treating them different exactly because they are a different color.
Democrats – the original party of racism and still the leading party of racism today!

Ridiculous, isn’t it? He’s already making up excuses for his stupid comments.
