UPDATE:

Disney gave her four different looks and she refused all.

Disney officials say they stopped putting Imane Boudlal on the schedule during the ongoing issue.

I think she looks stellar.  CAIR wanted to call attention to her plight.  Isn’t this what it is all about?  Appeasement.  I have new for Ms Boudlal, if you don’t like the dress code, find another job.

“After trying on the new uniform, Boudlal told her managers it does not meet her religious needs,” report union officials. “Boudlal said she found the hat embarrassing, especially because she would be the only restaurant employee forced to wear it.”

“The hat makes a joke of me and my religion, and draws even more attention to me,” Boudlal say in the same UNITE HERE statement. “It’s unacceptable. They don’t want me to look Muslim. They just don’t want the head covering to look like a hijab.”

Boudlal says she requested a religious accommodation to the company’s dress code two months and, due to what she considers inaction by Disney, she came to work on Aug. 15 wearing her hijab. She says she was told she would have to remove the head scarf if she wanted to continue working as a hostess.

“I don’t understand why I cannot wear my white scarf that already matches my restaurant uniform, and be left to do my job,” says Boudlal, who last week filed a discrimination complaint against Disney with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. “My scarf doesn’t do anything to harm Disney or the guests.”

Past Disney Employee says:As a Ex Disney Employee, i can say that she knew and signed a paper stating she knows the Costume guide lines and has to adhere by them!
she did not wear it for 2 years and knowingly wore it to work where she knew 100% she would be sent home and violated the contract she signed.Also knew before accepting the job that she would not be allowed!

when a character walks in and says he is going to wear Donalds head but mickeys body is that ok?. even after years of wearing both mickeys head and body! NO he knew what he must do, wear and adhere by before even taking the job!

I agree with disney on the most part, I also think that she should have asked for a position that was not going to be affected by her life change before she started the media frenzy, if she was serious about her religion that is what anyone would have done, so clearly this is just i want free money, and who better to take it form then disney!

That’s right, she she signed on the dotted line knowing full well what she her duties were.  Someone send this jackass back to her home country.  Yes, she has citizenship, but if she doesn’t like it here the grass is always greener on the other side of the mountain.  Move on Imane.
