Need is the mother of invention.  Will the TSA get peeved?  I mean they can actually see tampons and sanitary pads, so why not cover up?

Our novel products can protect tissues from a broadband of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation generated by imaging equipment and natural sources. For the first time, radiological shields are attractive, durable, affordable, fun, and comfortable to wear.

The US Diplomatic Leaks: A Superpower’s View of the World – SPIEGEL ONLINE – News – International.

Three times is a charm, isn’t it?   Now, let’s tighten security?

Obama et al = les incompetants

3 million people could have done what Manning did.  Security?  Uhm, only in fantasyland, as this was just a matter of time.

More than 3 million US government personnel and soldiers, many extremely junior, are cleared to have potential access to this material, even though the cables contain the identities of foreign informants, often sensitive contacts in dictatorial regimes. Some are marked “protect” or “strictly protect”.

And we are all supposed to trust our government with our medical records?

Israel isn’t the least bit upset about any of this.

“Israel has not been damaged at all by the WikiLeaks publications,” the prime minster told a group of editors in Tel Aviv. “The documents show many sources backing Israel’s assessments, particularly of Iran.”

One result of the Wikileaks cables was to expose Arab fears of growing Iranian power, and it emerged that Saudi Arabia had asked the U.S. to launch a military strike to prevent the Iranians from gaining a nuclear bomb.

Top 10 revelations.

For the visual learners.

And if you want it all, then go here. Now, if Wikileaks can do this, why can’t we get Bam’s records out on the net?

Citing deficit, Obama freezing federal worker pay.  I feel for those who can barely make it, but how about reducing some of the piggery sized administrative salaries?

President Barack Obama has announced a two-year pay freeze for federal employees, saying the step is necessary to help bring the federal deficit under control.

The freeze would apply to all civilian federal employees but would exclude military personnel.

Really, the piggery has gone too far.

The government is now outpacing the private sector.

“On average, the government is paying a typical employee 30 to 40 percent more in total benefits — both wages and salaries — than a similarly educated and skilled private sector would receive,” he says. “But … there are, in fact, some federal employees who are getting underpaid because the federal pay system doesn’t reward experience or hard work — it’s basically entirely seniority-based.”
