Call me a cranky old bitch but I DO NOT WANT the world cup here. Every bit of news I have ever seen about that particular sporting event has been negative- riots, tramplings, hooliganism of the lowest degree.
We want to pay the massive security bill for this event why? We are going to screen all the teams to rule out terrorists sneaking in with teams whose nations hate us? No? I didn’t think so.
Let’s be generous and let some third world country get the “revenue” from this one. Oh wait! Is it like the Olympics and it actually ends up costing the host country a was?
