Lone Police Officer in Mexican Border Town Remains Missing.
The lone police officer in the Mexican border village of Guadalupe remained missing on Tuesday, five days after reportedly being abducted by gunmen who stormed her home.
Erika Gandara, 28, was the Mexican village’s entire police force in the farming communities in the valley of Juarez, the El Paso Times reports.
A spokesman for the Chihuahua state attorney general’s office told the newspaper on Monday that authorities were aware of the incident involving Gandara, but there was still no official report of the kidnapping. Arturo Sandoval, a spokesman for prosecutors in northern Chihuahua state, said a search has begun for Gandara, who hasn’t been since seen Dec. 23.
Sandoval said Tuesday that the search started as a missing-person case.

I think she’s dead. I know, it sounds harsh, but why would those thugs let her live after killing all the other police officers?
Mexico is out of control and it sickens me that our government is opening the borders to them so that the crime can pour into the US.
Janet Nap. said that they are only deporting those who are in trouble with the law and that all “law abiding illegal aliens” (there’s an oxymoron for ya!)will be let alone. So, I guess they have to steal from us, kill, rape, drive drunk and cause an accident causing an innocent person to die before they are “asked to leave”?

Savages seem to be multiplying like cockroaches all over the planet.
I agree with Nunly she is probably dead poor soul. Thinking of her in captivity with these bastards gives me a case of the horrors.

Canada keeps you from coming over to their country at their border, if you have a history, it’s almost to the point of ridiculous, but I like it that way alot better than what we do.

Let’s see, one agency has no official report, but another is officially looking for her. They can’t even get their stories straight.

rjjrdq, I’m afraid that she has probably been tortured and is now dead. I won’t be surprised when her family makes the statement. You should have heard the shooting on Christmas Eve across the border. AK47 assault rifles. Continuous.

That is so sad. I cannot imagine that she is still alive. She was certainly heroic for trying to bring security to Guadalupe.
One hopes her abductors get everything that ought to be coming to them.
