Sheriff Dupnik’s Office Gagged After ‘Controversy’ with Prosecutors.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has suddenly turned off the flow of information in the January 8th mass shootings in Tucson. Shortly after noon Tuesday Sheriff’s PIO Jason Ogan released this terse, one-line statement:
“Until further notice, due to a controversy between the Sheriff’s Department and the County Attorney’s office, no further information reference the January 8, 2011 shooting will be released.”
Ahahahahahahahaha, Dipwad has been muzzled. It’s about time.

That sheriff should be recalled. His actions were extremely unprofessional and reckless.

Imust, you are being kind. This guy needs to be put out to pasture. He does not serve his constituency, he serves himself. When someone is to that point, they need to retire.

I was wondering what took so long. Talk about a loose cannon. I don’t know about you, but I know I would have lost my job by now.

Not only would I lose my job, but I would probably go to jail and pay a hefty fine as well. I think it’s something like $13,000 per incident. Yeah, I would have racked up quite a bill if I had done what Dipwad has.

Although it was held 100% within his juisdiction, Sheriff Dumbnik did not provide secuity for the Giffords rally. Could his attack on Conservatives have been intended to divert attention from his fatal dereliction of duty?
