This is the first time America and Europe have intervened militarily in any of the popular upheavals rolling through the Middle East since Tunisia’s Jasmine Revolution in early January. The advisers, including intelligence officers, were dropped from warships and missile boats at the coastal towns of Benghazi and Tobruk Thursday Feb. 24, for a threefold mission.

In a 30-minute telephone interview Thursday night, Qaddafi again charged that Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood had instigated the protest uprising in Libya. He warned that the fall of Cyrenaica would open Libya to the establishment of a Muslim jihadi and radical rear base for attacks on Europe and incursions into Egypt.

Obama Backs Easing Health Law Rules for States.

Seeking to appease disgruntled governors, President Obama announced Monday that he supported amending the 2010 health care law to allow states to opt out of its most burdensome requirements three years earlier than currently permitted.

No one loves this crap.  Someone needs to peel Valerie and Michelle off his ear.   POTUS needs to listen to the country, not to those two.

We are fools.  Giving illegal aliens back pay and benefits when they broke the law by being here?    Try this in Mexico or any other country that unabashedly abuses immigrants.

The Supreme Court on Monday passed up an opportunity to hear arguments about one such dispute and presumably settle the conflict within the states.

The issue of back pay to illegals has come up in at least a dozen states with mixed results.

Judges in Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Minnesota have issued rulings saying that illegals are entitled to collect on their benefits claims because state laws don’t expressly prevent illegals from doing so.

1,500 teachers paid to do union business instead of teach.  Anyone wonder why?

“In these tight fiscal times, it defies common sense to pay two different people to do one job,” said Dick Dadey, executive director of Citizens Union, a government watchdog. “It’s a waste of money.”

That $9 million would cover the salaries of 198 new teachers at the current annual $45,530 starting pay
