Mt. Laurel had me rolling off the chair.  She aptly described Gaddafi’s ensembles.

they wear clothes that are a cross between items salvaged from a dumpster and drapes from some low level execs office

Well, I just had to verify.  What do you think?  Awesome stance…looks like Michelle has been giving some lessons.

I threw this one in because it has all his favorite pals despots pasted all over.  I guess he didn’t want to forget what they look like or something?  I suppose it is better than him having tattooed all these freaks on his body.

Yup, what’s behind curtain number 3.  Hideous.

Batik gone wild.  I think he was trying out something he saw on Project Runway.

Found the drapes.  Someone alert Joe Biden and tell him what the drapes are draping.

Good grief, he wore a ushenka at Versailles.  Certainly Marie Antoinette would have a thought about this fierce unfaboush look.

Now, take a look at Marilyn…

This is faboush!

Parents Spend Big Bucks on Outrageous Kids’ Birthday Parties – ABC News.  $32,000 for a toddler party?

All did not go as well with the cake, however. Gracie began to cry when a bird on the cake was purple instead of blue.

Oh poor kid.

Jennifer Waldburger, a licensed clinical social worker, warned that parties like these might not only break the bank, but also set children’s expectations too high.

“It sets up an expectation for kids that every birthday, every graduation, every milestone in their life is going to have these fireworks where no expense is spared,” she said. “So the bar keeps getting set even higher and higher and each celebration has to outdo the last.”

Ya think?  The entitlement generation.

Waldburger also said elaborate and expensive parties can give parents a sense of validation.

“This unforgettable experience gives parents a lot of validation and makes them feel like they are doing a good job,” she said.

Back at Gracie’s royal 6th birthday party, mom and dad planned a special surprise for the grand finale — a new car.

“Mom, I don’t know how to drive,” Gracie said after her present was unwrapped.

Good grief.  I thought weddings had gone the way of the toilet.

On average, US couples spend $24,066 for their wedding. However, the majority of couples spend between $18,050 and $30,083. This does not include cost for a honeymoon or engagement ring. Understanding wedding cost now can help you with your wedding budget later.

And we wonder why they behave the way that they do.

Hezbollah Working with Cartels.

This comes as Mexican authorities busted a senior Hezbollah operative who employed Mexicans nationals with family ties to Lebanon to set up the network, designed to target Israel and the West, according to multiple reports. The man’s name is Jameel Nasr and he was arrested after a Mexican surveillance operation revealed that he traveled frequently to Lebanon to receive information and instructions from Hezbollah commanders and he also spent several months in Venezuela working with the terror group and Hugo Chavez’s people.

Will someone PLEASE wake her up?  Or is she playing the video game?

Ominous news from our colleagues over at BBC Monitoring: “‘Libyan military source confirms orders were issued for the aerial bombardment of Benghazi within two hours,’” reported Al-Arabiya TV in an urgent screen caption at 1947 GMT.”

from the BBC live blog.

Obama accused of ‘double standards’ as family holiday after telling Americans not to.  You hear that America?  We are broke and you need to make sacrifices.

President Obama has been accused of having double standards after appealing for Americans to sacrifice their holidays just days before his wife and children went on a costly skiing trip.

Queen MEECHELLE doesn’t have a clue as to what the word “sacrifice” means.

An education is non negotiable.  This kid should be grateful to have someone who loves him so much that she would  go out on a limb for him.  You know that there will be many who will trash her for making him stand on the corner.

A Tampa mom is so frustrated with her son’s grades, she is making him wear a sign on a street corner to tell everyone about them.

Ronda Holder’s 15-year-old son James is standing on the corner at 22nd Street and Hillsborough Avenue, wearing a sign that says: “I did four questions on my FCAT and said I wasn’t going to do it…GPA 1.22…honk if I need education.”

Bad grades land teen on street corner.
