“Why Aren’t You Speaking English?”
English is not my first language. I find this behavior deplorable. Anyone who has been living in this country for 22 years should be speaking English. If this man had gone before the elite government of Mexico, I can guarantee he would have been tossed out of the building if he had spoken in any other language but Spanish.
He prefers to speak Spanish, hence the interpreter that we, the taxpayer are paying for.

I would have told him that if he wanted to speak in Spanish, even though he had the capability to speak English that he would not be allowed to use an interpreter. If he wants to get his message out, than do so in a way that it can be understood. If not, get the hell out and quit wasting everybody’s time.
