Did Obama Really Prevent A Second Great Depression?
POTUS will tell you that he did despite the obvious.
IBD reviewed records of economic forecasts made just before Obama signed the stimulus bill into law, as well as economic data and monthly stimulus spending data from around that time, and reviews of the stimulus bill itself.
The conclusion is that in claiming to have staved off a Depression, the White House and its supporters seem to be engaging in a bit of historical revisionism.
There are many who will believe him and try to give him four more years. They say that pictures are worth a thousand words.
It’s far worse than we are being told.

Unfortunately, all his Obots believe every lie that comes out of his mouth. That’s what got us into this mess in the first place. I have no doubt that he will still get a majority of his base to come out and vote for him. I’d like to believe they will stay home, but they have yet to prove that they can allow their egos to let them believe they’ve been duped.

In a speech to donors they couldn’t even keep a straight face when he said he created jobs.
“As a consequence of that swift, decisive, and sometimes difficult period, we were able to take an economy that was shrinking by about 6 percent and create an economy that is now growing, and has grown steadily now over many consecutive quarters. Over the last 15 months we’ve created over 2.1 million private sector jobs. (Laughter.)”
The sad thing is…they’ll still hand him the cash. Assholes.
