Texas Tells Feds: Shove Your Light Bulb Ban.
“Let there be light,” state Rep. George Lavender, R-Texarkana, wrote on Facebook after the bill passed. “It will allow the continued manufacture and sale of incandescent light bulbs in Texas, even after the federal ban goes into effect. … It’s a good day for Texas.”

Absolutely Nom, I don’t want any friends to be left in mercury lurking CFL land. It pisses me off more than you know. When I had eye surgery, the compromise is less acuity with low level light. I just can’t live like that. Too many black cats here.
