No holds barred. Well worth reading in it’s entirety. The most telling statement?
It’s time to tell Americans the truth. And the first party to do that will own the future.
via Opinion: The real deal on the debt debate. Question is, which party has the balls to own the future?

Good summation- I am not a fan of Joe- never watch his show- as a matter of fact I am pretty sure I do not watch the network he is on- but he seems to be saying what Uppity always says
Both sides suck.

I don’t watch Morning Joe. I think the post is spot on. He really does understand that there is a group out here that sees exactly what is happening and are none too happy about it.

So if this group is unhappy, why aren’t they being as vocal as Scarborough? They need to walk the talk; the sooner, the better.

I think that this group is finally getting the hint. Neither side can win without them. The middle doesn’t make a lot of noise.

Well as someone who DOES watch Morning Joe, I have to say that he is the only one on that ass-kissing Obama-philic network with enough balls to shoot straight.
Makes him unpopular with the network, colleagues, etc. but he just keeps shooting.
Good for him.

Time zone differences keep me from watching him Anthony, but I agree with this man. I’m surprised that he hasn’t been told to take a walk. Then again, he is their assurance that they are fair and balanced. I think it’s great that he is making his bosses itch.

It might be technically possible to faint, hit one’s head on a desk, and die. But it isn’t bloody damn likely.

Mish of Mish’s Global Economic Analysis has a good point.
“Politicians tend to underestimate their voters ability to deal with a crisis. If the population at large knows it’s coming, they can and will deal with it. Many of today’s generation of politicians forget that their grandparents lived through two wars, the depression and several stock market crashes only to create the most robust growth era in modern history.”

And if that didn’t, this probably will.
