We felt it here in NC, things jumped around and a couple of books fell over. This is not earthquake country, lol, people were amazed.
Lake Anna is a man made lake, 17 mi long, hundreds of people live around it. It’s at least theoretically possible that the weight of the water might actually trigger an earthquake. And of course it’s right outside of Richmond & Fredericksburg and only 90 mi from DC. These reactors are rated as some of the most dangerous in the country http://www.nbc29.com/story/14265528/lake-anna-reactor-ranked-7th-most-at-risk-for-earthquake-damage, they are Westinghouses that date from the late 70s but are pressurized water reactors not boiling water reactors like Fukushima’s.
They are also only designed to withstand a 5.9-6.1 quake btw, just like today’s.

Too bad the cops didn’t shoot him; pos will probably go to some mental hospital to be released in a few years to do it all over again. Sad to think you could live to be 81 only to be taken out by some nut.
