Social Security pays millions in benefits to deceased – Sep. 7, 2011.

The Social Security inspector general estimates that the agency has made $40.3 million in erroneous payments to deceased beneficiaries — even though the administration had already recorded their deaths in its records. The estimate is based on a sample tested during its most recent audit in January 2008, the watchdog agency said.

Let’s try alittle harder to clean up the stupidity.

Officials investigate missing ammo at Fort Bragg.  Anyone else wonder how the heck you misplace or have this much ammunition moved without anyone noticing it’s movement on a military installation?

Officials at Fort Bragg say an investigation is under way into the disappearance of nearly 14,000 rounds of ammunition at the Army base.

Staff Sgt. Joshua Ford, a spokesman for the 82nd Airborne Division, says the ammunition went missing from the 1st Brigade Combat Team at Fort Bragg.

The Fayetteville Observer reports that Ford believed the ammunition was taken overnight on Tuesday. The 1st Brigade team was placed on lockdown for a few hours Wednesday night while officials conducted a search.

The missing ammunition can be used in an M-4 or M-16 assault rifle.

Either a colossal mistake or a malicious outcome,  neither of which is funny in the least.  Sheer boobery.

We have lost a lot of homes in one fell swoop.

Arson is suspected. Destruction and mayhem on purpose. I will never understand why someone would want to purposely do this. We haven’t seen rain in almost a month. Texas is firewood waiting to happen and it happened. Prayers for all.

I hear Barack wants to throw another $300 billion into the firewood in order to create more jobs.    I won’t hold my breath because it will be the same as tossing the money into one of our wildfires.

Just a quick reminder of how deadly these fires are.

(Ralph Barrera AMERICAN-STATESMAN) The Bastrop County Animal Shelter was busy rescuing stray animals from the various fires around the county taking them into their shelter for treatment and hopefully to be reunited with their proper owners. Animal Control Officer Patti Hilliard baths this young black cat who was rescued while clinging to a burning tree earlier today. She was astounded that the cat was in good health and spirits as it purred after the cleaning.

We have never seen anything like this in my lifetime.

White House received emails about Fast and Furious gun operation.  I’m not surprised.  What the heck does border security mean for this administration?

And another thing, why do we pay taxes when our government hands out money to illegal aliens?   I wouldn’t be surprised if that cretin, Felipe Calderon got an IRS refund check.  I’m sure of it because illegals now have more rights than US citizens.
