The Texas Supreme Court suspended a judge Tuesday whose beating of his then-teenage daughter in 2004 was viewed millions of times on the Internet.
Aransas County court-at-law Judge William Adams was suspended immediately with pay pending the outcome of the inquiry started earlier this month by the State Commission on Judicial Conduct, according to an order signed Tuesday by the clerk of the state’s highest court.

Although it has not been confirmed that the man shown is Judge Adams, several people have posted comments below the video claiming it is definitely him.
One post from a J. Andre Bardin, who claims to be one of Hillary’s friends, reads: ‘I know in the article you say you cannot confirm the man in the video is him, but I can. It’s him.
‘That’s his voice, that’s his mannerisms, and that is his house.’
The woman, thought to be judge Adam’s wife, who is seen in the video delivering a single blow to her daughter, is said to have left the marriage after suffering emotional abuse.
She has apparently apologised for taking part in the beating and allowing it to happen.
Wonder what his constituents think now? Has this assclown never heard of The Burning Bed? If there is a very special place for this sob in Hell, I’m sure he will have it reserved for beating his disabled child and spouse. I don’t care if this guy is a judge or not. He should be held accountable for his deplorable behavior. His daughter says that she is sorry that she posted the video, but it is a plea for help.

Think Judge Moxley in Florida, who is still on a bench today after literally facilitating murder of women and children from his “Bench”. Think of the shitbag Judge Donald Thompson who recently got lost of his retirement money as his only punishment for using a penis pump in a courtroom. Think of that pig Samuel Kent who obstructed an investigation into his own perversions with captive female employees. There was an “investigation” started by a congressman but of course, it went nowhere. Then there was magistrate Joe Rehyansky, who suggested corrective rape as a cure for lesbians, in an editorial carried by that bastion of integity, cough cough… the Daily Caller. They later deleted it all but not before I and plenty of other people copied it.
Because they are judges, they should be held not only accountable, but MORE accountable, and they should be displayed in the public square.

I couldn’t click on the video. I have a disabled daughter. That man is my worst nightmare. I swear to you if anyone laid one finger on my daughter they’d be history. I worry every day about her….I worry what will happen after I’m gone. I worry that she will be under the care of an animal like this….if there is a way to come back and haunt people and something like this ever happened to my daughter…..I will do it….if there isn’t a way, I WILL FIND ONE! Sorry to be so dramatic, but this really hits home for me.

Hmmm – Hillary has power, this judge had power (not much relative to her, but…). But what a difference in how they used their “power” – and I read that he routinely declared that kids’ statements of being abused are not to be believed, because kids fantasize. Sounds like some cases need to be reopened!
Seems like if it’s something that happened to a child, there should be a longer statute of limitations – since it may take them longer to understand that something is not normal, is even illegal. I think it may be true for rape. But it should be for this, as well, IMO.

I am not disagreeing, but I will tell you what some people will see rather than your description: the judge caught his daughter stealing–apparently not for the first time– and he punished her for it so she would think twice about doing so again. A belt is not (in the main) a deadly weapon, it’s a common instrument of corporal punishment.
I can tell you that this couple are rank amateurs when it comes to physical abuse and verbal abuse. At no time was the girl in fear for her life or in fear for the lives of others; there was in all probability no lasting scarring as she was fully clothed; and verbal abuse was mostly limited to criticisms of her behavior: stealing from the internet, being on the internet without permission, and back-talking. The punishment had a relatively defined beginning and ending, and she was told in advance what was coming.
I am categorically not stating I approve, but if the girl were not disabled, I really doubt most people would care.

While I don’t think one can ever rule this out with abusive people, when the wife refused to give him back the belt he went and got another. Jmo he did this because he wanted to maintain a united front against the daughter with the wife. So it follows that he believes that the wife has some share in the authority over their child. Raping the daughter would probably fall into the set of things that conflict with his wife’s legitimate authority, and the set of what he owes his wife etc.
