Octomom Nadya Suleman says she ‘hates’ her children, contemplates suicide: ‘They disgust me’ . Woot! Parent? Not.
Though she insists she still has love for her children, Suleman looks back on the decisions she’s made and says she wishes she never got pregnant in the first place.
“Obviously I love them – but I absolutely wish I had not had them,” she says.
Idiot? Absolutely.
Feeling overwhelmed by the burdens of caring for a large family, Suleman not only says she wishes she never had them, but admits to have contemplated suicide.
“I hate the babies, they disgust me,” the 36-year-old single mother told the magazine.
She also unleashes some vile words for her older children.
“My older six are animals,” she says, “[They are] getting more and more out of control, because I have no time to properly discipline them.”
Jackass, children are not disposable. The merit nothing less than self sacrifice. I hope that IVF physician is happy with his hand in this creation. I’m sure that the kids will just love reading these articles when they are old enough to ask her questions about her statements.

“My older six are animals,” she says, “[They are] getting more and more out of control, because I have no time to properly discipline them.”
Bullshit! With her as their mother, they’d be out of control without the babies. Too bad she never heard of putting her unwanted childrn up for adoption so they could be wanted and loved.
Just contemplating suicide isn’t enough, Nadia.

Isn’t she the idiot that begged for more kids? I want, I want, I want is all I ever heard from this trash. Her behavior is not any different than this boy having a fit.

She had the octuplets as a publicity stunt thinking she would become a celebrity (in a good way). But although she is moderately attractive, albeit with some obvious plastic surgery, she is apparently untalented and has been unable to parlay her situation into a career that can provide the extravagant lifestyle she desires. The children she thought would make her career are instead an enormous financial burden; one is hardly surprised her excitement has turned to resentment. Even did she have the proper feelings to parent her offspring, 14 children is way too many for anyone. She should put the 8 younger ones up for adoption.

She should let them go to homes where they are wanted. Tell me how this jackass could possibly think that what she is saying right now is not wounding to those children? I think her own parents think she is a nut.

True Buttered, but no child deserves this half hearted effort. I won’t be the first to say that it is hard, but I will say that you buy the farm, you take care of it all. There is just no excuse for this woman.

She thought she would get RICH with this stupid act of cruelity to children and the viewing public too!

A complete fool Buttered. Raising children is more than just about money.

I cannot count the number of times my mother told me I was an accident and unwanted. But long before she said this, she showed this; I do not think Suleiman’s saying this in an interview will make any real difference to her children. If she does the right thing and gives them up to more competent parents, they will overlook her faults as due to stress; if she keeps them, they’ll know it long before they can read.

True Nom. For the life of me, I cannot comprehend why a parent would say such vile things to a child? I just cannot. What purpose does it serve? The child is a child. What on earth possesses people to be so cruel? I am not naive Nom. The thought of being told day after day that you are not wanted makes no sense whatsoever.

Although they are grown physically, they lack mental processes to accept disappointment or look for the positive; their world revolves entirely about themselves. I have no idea how Suleman came to be so helpless, unable to plan for herself and her first couple of children that she might have cared for effectively. But in many cases, these people were never parented properly themselves, and then they started having children long before they have got their own situation in order. I read somewhere that as a child Suleman was a hoarder: jmo, but this makes a serious case she should never have been considered for her original IVF at 21; her doctor (it’s the same one for all her pregnancies) has had his license suspended or revoked, I forget which, it was earlier this year.
Although my own mother was both vicious and incompetent, her own childhood situation was very poor, abortion was not legal, and she had been raised to think it evil so would never have had one in any event. Additionally women were raised to think giving up one’s child was barely better than abortion. Nor was giving one’s children up for adoption at that time at all feasible: hillbilly babies, even those of married women like my mother, were hardly high demand in a then unglobalized America. Giving up one’s child to a family is one thing, giving them up when one predicts they will end up in an orphanage is another. I’d bet even today the preference is for a rich girl who made a mistake’s baby over a so-called white trash baby.
The worst thing is, these mothers could have gone on to be productive and functional members of society if that society had actually wanted them to do so.

I think that the state went after the physician Nom. Everyone saw this trainwreck coming. She made a fortune in the beginning, but let’s face the facts about caring for children. It’s not just about money. I see a lot of undisciplined behavior in this woman. I saw an interview with her mum and they had little control over her early on.

Our laws have made adoption very difficult. I think that is why you see so many high profile adoptions taking place in other countries. There are so many devils in the details. I doubt the choice is over white trash. I think most parents want a baby that will be healthy. If the choice is between an addict’s baby or a clean baby, you know most people don’t want the problems that come with the addict’s baby. Too many unknowns.

Part of the enchantment with foreign babies is that the adopter gets brownie points for rescuing them from the savages: look at the
adoptionpurchase of Native American children in the 70s before they got access to the Russian and Chinese peoples’ babies. And I assure you you have only to go to a prog blog if you want to see how much prejudice there still is against the white poor. The perception is that they are all inbred redneck hillbilly racist meth-addicted drunks who drive trucks in poor repair that are festooned with gunracks, confederate flags, jeebus stickers, and probably animal hides, as a maypole has ribbons. This, while on their way to shack up with their cousin-sister-mother, to church, to extract revenge over a feud, or to distill moonshine, not to mention pulling over to dine, although they have no teeth, upon roadkill.
November 3, 2011 at 11:18 am
And I thought that Hispanics were seriously deranged when it came to adoption. sigh

Hope you’re doing well

Hey DE. Yup. I am in the midst of trying to get a grip on the feral cat colony. It’s now getting cold here and they are hiding inside car engines. We lost a kitten that way last night. Burials at midnight are just awful.
