Why Do These People Get Paid To Do Stupid Things?

Geez, and I thought I had seen enough for today when I read this post. ‘She couldn’t say no’: Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board pulls controversial ad that ‘blames date-rape victims and victim’s friends’ after receiving hundreds of complaints. They needed complaints?
I wonder if we are all orbiting in the same crazy universe? Can someone please tell me what century this is?

But wait, cucumbers are just the tip of the iceberg. Oops, now I’m providing visuals.
He said that these fruits and vegetables “resemble the male penis” and hence could arouse women or “make them think of sex.” Bikyamasr.com cannot independently verify the accuracy of the news item at time of writing.
He also added carrots and zucchini to the list of forbidden foods for women.
And all this time, I thought it what that “change of life” thinga ma jiggy. He couldn’t stop there, instead he imparted more wisdom.
The sheikh was asked how to “control” women when they are out shopping for groceries and if holding these items at the market would be bad for them. The cleric answered saying this matter is between them and God.
Answering another question about what to do if women in the family like these foods, the sheikh advised the interviewer to take the food and cut it for them in a hidden place so they cannot see it.
I’m going to have to hold back at the veg bin next time I go to the grocery store.

Virginia Tech Locked down After Two Shot Dead, Including Police Officer – ABC News.
The school is saying that the suspect is a white male wearing a gray sweatpants, a gray hat with a neon green brim, a maroon hoodie and a backpack, according to the Associated Press.
A weapon was found at the location of the body of a second person killed on the campus, Virginia Tech says. That person, a male, was found in a parking lot, the school said.

Blagojevich sentenced to 14 years for corruption charges. Way too much time for doing what they all do. I have to wonder how much more time he would have gotten if he had opened the full can of worms?
