Lets be real: Joe isn’t VP for any other reason except that The Changeling was very weak among white middle aged males during his campaign. Putting Biden on the ticket was an attempt to shore up that vote. Whether it was clever or ridiculous is beyond me, but that’s the only reason I can figure out for that choice.
