Update: Libya’s interim president, Mohammed el-Megarif, issued an explicit apology for the murders of Stevens and the three other Americans:

Speaking to reporters, he vowed to bring the culprits to justice and maintain his country’s close relations with the United States. He said the three Americans were security guards. ….

Contrast that with the silence coming from Egypt’s leadership after the attack on the US embassy.

Before Romney issued his statement today, an open mic capture the press coordinating questions to ask Romney, with one saying “no matter who he calls on we’re covered on the one question”. I’ve transcribed it to the best of my ability but the audio is below for verification:

You know I usually just lurk about but could not let this one go.
The MSM was not even covering Lybia or Egypt much of yesterday. Last nights news mentioned here were some”demonstrations”. It’s pretty bad when HuffoAOL is one of the few places with anything posted online at all. And of course, with so little coverage, people are going to wonder what Romney (or anyone else brave enough to call those idiots out) was even talking about.
But then there was little mention of 9/11 either and they are all back pedaling on yet the latest snub to Israel while bowing again to the nut jobs.

They concocted a deal. The “deal” of course was due to the fact that the American People would NOT go for the release of the Blind Sheik. Obummer ALLOWED for Stevenson’s kidnapping. The administration would look like they had no other choice but to then hand over Mr. White Cane? Ahhhhhh clever….. a way to get the Blind Sheik to Egypt without the Obummer administration looking like they just let him go and showing what pussies they really are! No surprise if the post has been taken down. I put nothing past this administration. Fast & Furious has taught me that they will go to whatever lengths at the expense of anyone and everyone to get whatever they want jj. Stevenson’s death is tragic and did not have to happen although it serves as a stark reminder how this administration continues to try to sell unicorns and rainbows to the citizens of this country.
