96 or 82 interruptions? Joe was a condescending and rude person this evening. If I had been the moderator, I would have bitten the wagging finger pointed at me. What’s with Joe’s “stuff” comment? Stuff? Seriously, this is the VP of the US. My 10 year old students would use the word “stuff.”

Biden was a complete and total jerk last night. Who in their right mind would want someone like that as VP? His behavior was completely inappropriate for such a serious debate and especially given his office. He was an embarrassment to the office of VP last night in my opinion.
I also got annoyed with the moderator because she didn’t control Biden nor did she really follow up. The piss poor job she did was most evident during the Libyan exchange. She let Biden get away with LIES upon LIES and when Ryan tried to defend the Romney ticket and/or state facts she cut him off and said they were changing the subject.
All that being said, Biden’s performance played very well with the obots. My daughter is away at grad school and living above her is a young professor active in OFA………absolutely a smug little shit this guy is btw. He has hosted a debate party for the two debates so far…….my daughter doesn’t have cable so she hasn’t watched the debates, but she will text me the obot party responses and some of what they’re saying, or ask me what just happened.
Anyway during the first debate she thought she might have to call the suicide hotline for them, they were absolutely despondent. Last night they were overjoyed, absolutely thrilled with Biden’s performance.
So if what many say about this election is true……..that it’s a base election and the ticket that wins will be the one that fired up their base the best. If that is truly the nature of this election, Biden’s performance was a smashing success for the Obama ticket because it really rallied their base. Did it rally them enough to mirror 2008 turnouts? Somehow I doubt that, because somewhere deep down in the minds of many of the voters lies the reality of the past four years. Sure my daughter’s neighbor will vote, probably in a couple of states, but he and his friends are part of a minority of die hard koolaide addicts.

I did not watch it live. I knew it would just be a three ring circus.
In viewing the various clips, it makes one really appreciate Lehrer’s far more professional approach. That woman was just awful.
The screen captures make me think that Crazy Joe’s prep team must have had him watch a lot of old SNL skits. In many of the pictures, I see those fun over the top expressions Phil Hartman (RIP) did so well. Except Joe does not pull off those faces with the same panache since he is not really that talented and appears to have had a little too much botox to go with those plugs.

Mt Laurel, it was insanity. They sent him to attack and it turned into a clown show. He had some valid points which could have been elaborated on. Raddatz did a horrible job as a moderator. She was also interrupting to change the course of discussion. Lehrer did a far better job at keeping the debate going. Next up is a town hall discussion which will probably end up becoming food for fodder.

I think Ryan was smart. Romney engaged Obama and Lehrer didn’t intervene too much. Raddatz swooped in every chance she got and cut Ryan off in his last sentence every time when Joe wasn’t. It’s hard for Ryan not to look weak if he started fighting with the moderator and yelling at Biden. So, he drank his water and kept himself from kicking Biden’s ass P90X style.

I heard that Biden acutally gave the finger to Ryan at some point the other night. I never saw that. Maybe just a rumor but I wouldn’t be surprised.

Nothing, but nothing surprises me about this administration rj. IMO, they trump all past administration on arrogance. He behaved as if it were beneath him to even be there. Is that not how jackhole behaved?
This Libya thingy is going to blow up in their faces. They are walking a very fine line right now. I’m sure that they would love to toss Hillary under the bus, but then they lose Bill. That would hurt. Add all the interesting tidbits that would leak out and you have a monster in the making.
