I LOVE to laugh and I laugh often and hard. Time is NOT anyone’s friend, so laugh often and laugh hard.
About politics, I am very unhappy with what has transpired in the election for POTUS 2008. I read about it, write about it and hopefully share it with you.
My mother came to this country with the hope that her family would fare better in life than she had opportunity for. It is with that same hope that I can say we are so proud of our country because it offers everyone an opportunity to progress. Yes, I do believe that the sky is the limit. It takes time and one must be tenacious and keep learning at every turning point.
About that learning thing…the blog has an area for comments. All comments are welcome. Please refrain from using profanity. I do not want to be shut down or flagged.
Unfortunately, I have erased comments accidentally. If yours does not show, please re comment. I try not to allow filth, but I do enjoy listening to different points of view.
Let’s get to the laughing business. It is very good for you. Call it laughercise or just having a good ole time. It is healthy and does wonders for stress. Forget going to the gym, laugh your way to health. Hey, there is no membership fee either.
Now, when you are down and feeling like the world is kicking you. A few words from a dear friend reminded me of what life is all about. Wherever or whatever you worship, may these words carry you through the day.
Santa Teresa de Avila
1515-1582
Nada te turbe;
nada te espante;
todo se pasa;
Dios no se muda,
la paciencia
todo lo alcanza.
Quien a Dios tiene,
nada le falta.
Solo Dios basta.
translated:
May nothing disturb you!
(St. Teresa of Avila had these verses written in her breviary**)
May nothing disturb you.
May nothing astonish you.
Everything passes.
God does not go away.
Patience
can attain anything.
He who has God within,
does not lack anything.
God is everything!*
(Translation by Jorge W. Suazo)
(*This last verse may be interpreted as “God is enough.”)

What happened to that utube video you posted?
Why was it removed and by whom?
Is there someplace where I can send others to see it. I thought it was really well done and SCARY!

Hi, I am not sure that this is the page with the missing video. Sometimes, the VODPOD malfunctions and things disappear.

Terry welcome. I love to laugh, but I also like to blog about the political ick that I witness. I don’t ever want to forget how things are changing and not for the better. I wish everyday was joy and filled with laughter. I really do.

i take care of a brother and life here isn’t happy most of the time due to his illness, so any laughter i can squeeze in my day is wonderful. i see your point also, life is not all about laughter, by far, but it is a nice addition to a day

Absolutely. The power of laughter is great! Any hardy laugh is priceless. I used to laugh in a polite way, but truth be told…I burst out roaring. No holding back anymore. Joy can be fleeting.
Sorry to hear about your brother, but I am fairly sure that you make him happy as well. Admit it, we all try to share this funny thing called laughter.

Great site! I love to laugh too and will be laughing me bumm off when Romney wins. Thanks for sharing an article I wrote months ago (on reparations – I just happened upon your comment recently). If interested, there are several follow ups to that one. Here is the most recent but hopefully it will be a non-isse after election day!! http://rbo2.com/2012/10/10/danette-clark-the-reparation-agenda-obamas-race-rhetoric-literally-scripted-by-reparations-movement-and-international-law/
