Ben Nelson’s big adventure at the pizza restuarant. This is not Washington D.C. and someone should have warned you before you went back to Nebraska.

Ben you might want to be careful about eating out now.

Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson and his wife were leaving dinner at a new pizza joint near their home in Omaha one night last week when a patron began complaining about Nelson’s decisive vote in favor of the Senate’s health care bill.

Other customers started booing. A woman yelled, “Get him the hell out of here!” And the Nelsons and their dining companions beat a hasty retreat.

“It was definitely a scene in there,” said Tom Lewis, a 41-year-old dentist and registered Republican who witnessed the incident. A second witness confirmed the incident to POLITICO.

I guess no one really talks with Ben about how his behavior might possibly be perceived as nothing less than greedy and piggish.  And obviously few in DC understand how this behavior is shameful and unacceptable PERIOD.

Shout out to Ben.

“New experience for Nelson” — hey, better get used to it, Benny Boy. You betrayed Nebraska, you betrayed America. You’re lucky they only booed you, and didn’t start lobbing greasy pepperoni slices and mushroom pieces at your traitorous head.

Hey Ben, you might want to be careful about traveling to other states.  They don’t take kindly to having to pay for other’s greed.
