Two Scottsdale schools are in lockdown due to an armed man involved in a family altercation near the schools.

Coronado High School and Sierra Vista Academy are both in lockdown after an unidentified 65-year-old man brandished a hand gun during an argument with his wife and 26-year old son at their home near the 2200 block of N. 74th Place. The wife and son made it out of the home unharmed.

Police are attempting to contact the 65-year-old in the home. No further information was released.
