Isn’t it just weird? When I was kid, we had huge bonfires to get rid of what came into the yard. That is illegal now. I really can’t stand to get them stuck under the car. Anyhow, I do own a pitchfork.
You are a saint. I now have Kit’s brother in custody. I was late on Monday because I thought that he had accidentally gotten stuck behind the wall. We are working on the kitchen cabinets. I understand completely about that in front of your nose business. lol
My first cat was black. A friend of my mother’s found he and his sibling under her porch. They kept one kitten and asked my parents if they would like one for me. They cautioned that the cats were black. My parents laughed and told them the kitten would match all the stuffed black cats lined up on my bed. He arrived in a basket with a bow. Of course I gave him the very original name of Inky. Cemented my love for black cats.
Ahhhh, your parents were so sweet. I had a vet once tell me that she thought black cats were the meanest of all. I was stumped. She had never had a nice black cat in her office in 35 years. Then she met my kitty EK, she was awestruck by his gentle manner. I love them all, but black ones have a special place in my heart.
Me too! I still have 4: Magic, Nostradamus, Fibonacci (“Bubbles”), and Angus Cow. The first black cat I ever had was a stray cat I named Eleven O’clock, she was so devoted. I have had so many black cats, they were all wonderful.
Yup, a front loader does the job as well. We don’t get the huge tumbleweeds, we just get tons of dirt dunes. You cannot keep a home dust free without a housekeeper working 24/7. That said, this area was a boom for anyone with TB because it is so dry.
