Our special snowflakes are going to walk right off the cliff if they don’t start looking up soon. Then again, I have old family members that do the same thing. I love the fact that I am in contact in case of an emergency, and thankfully there are very few “real” emergencies. But in all honesty, I would love to toss the phone in the trashcan some day.
How could all of the three children drown and the mother not see/do anything? She had a damn phone – 911 is not on her radar? Who lets their kids into a pool with deep water if they cannot swim? And without even an inner tube? No one else was at the pool and the complex had been cited for things like a gate that did not latch (and therefore you can get to pool even when you are not supposed to be able to access)? Was it not being used for a reason? The three children appear to have a different last name from the mother. They do not give the last name of the two youngest children that she kept with her. Something is off
I see this quite often. Kids running loose without any adult actually watching over them. I have even seen them run into the street while the poser adult is yapping or texting on the phone. If this woman did not belong there, there will be a lawsuit…it has to be someone else’s screwup like leaving the gate open. No excuse for any of this. I will say that those children are better off without this neglectful woman posing as a parent. No more suffering neglect.
And the same kids who star with those phones At ten and twelve years old are the ones who have been overly stimulated by TV since age six months. Their brains don’t stand a chance.
How awful for people to be so terrified of being alone for more than five minutes.
